College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign

The College of Education for Humanities at Diyala University, in cooperation with the Diyala Health Department, organized a voluntary blood donation campaign. The campaign saw wide participation from faculty, students, and staff, aiming to support blood banks and promote a spirit of humanitarian and volunteer work within the university community.The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhood Al-Tamimi, emphasized that the campaign falls within the framework of the social responsibility of educational institutions. It aims to spread awareness of blood donation as a humanitarian act that contributes to saving the lives of patients and the injured, and strengthens the values of solidarity and social cohesion among members of society.Participants in the campaign highlighted the importance of volunteer initiatives in instilling humanitarian values in students and developing a spirit of initiative and teamwork, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being).
