DEAN'S MESSAGE
The College of Education for Humanities in Diyala Province was established in the academic year 1994–1995 as part of Al-Mustansiriya University. Initially, it comprised the following departments: Arabic, English, and History.
In the academic year 1996–1997, the Departments of Geography and Physical Education were established. Later on, the latter became the nucleus of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, which was established in 1997–1998. In the same year, the Departments of Educational and Psychological Sciences and Biology were also instituted.

IT is clear that the advancement and development of societies is achieved through the programmes of their scientific institutions and is achieved through the formulation of their policy in various fields. The vision that the Faculty of Education looks forward to reach is to develop, through its programmes, a directory of work for all institutions of society. It serves as a reference for those institutions and seeks to provide scientific expertise to their students in order to qualify them to assume the duties entrusted to it by the techniques used in the world’s ancient universities, thereby making the institutions of society a similar position in the world’s developed countries.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Luay Saihood Al-Tamimi, the college held a dialogue seminar on strategies to combat all forms of racial discrimination from an academic perspective.
