The College of Education for Humanities holds its sixth annual scientific conference to discuss the outstanding research papers of fourth -year students for the academic year 2021-2022

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Diyala, Prof. Dr. Abdel Moneim Abbas Kareem, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Nassif Jassim Muhammad Al-Khafaji, the College of Education for Humanities held its sixth annual scientific conference to discuss graduation research papers of the alumni class for the academic year 2021-2022, under the title (With Science, Nations are Built) .
The conference, which was attended by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Amer Muhammad Ibrahim, began with the reciting from the Holy Quran, then playing of Iraqi national anthem, the university anthem, and reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and Diyala University.
Then the President of the Conference, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Nassif Jassim Muhammad Al-Khafaji, gave a speech in which he said that the college is one of the largest colleges in the university and has its momentousness on the university level and among its Iraqi peer colleges. The past days witnessed the discussion of (1103) graduation research paper submitted by students of morning and evening studies, serving the labor market, addressing the problems of state and society institutions. As these papers can find a position in the labor market.
Among these research papers, five papers have been distinguished, distributed among the college departments, which will be discussed in this conference. As Al-khafaji mentioned that the discussion of fourth-year students research papers is a unique experience, noting that the college has achieved a high level of efficiency for its students.
The Preparatory Committee indicated that the aim of the conference is to activate the student’s role in participating in the nation building through their scientific and intellectual creativity in their research products. This conference aims to stimulate honest and constructive competition and scientific creativity to reach the realization of ambition. Furthermore, it is to give our students an opportunity to reveal their scientific and cognitive abilities, and to contribute to strengthening the strategy of our university in creating a generation that relies on science and research as a basis for their launch after graduation. So this conference is basically to invest in possible ideas and research proposals that address or participate in addressing the problems of society and government institutions. The conference came out with several recommendations, including continuing to adopt a policy of selecting research papers that serve the labor market and the community, and motivating and encouraging students in the departments of our college to achieve scientific and research excellence. As similar conferences have been held to keep pace with scientific and research development in world universities. It is recommended to make advantage of the research papers that were discussed in the conference to serve the community and for marketing them in proportion to the rank of our scientific college.
At the end of the conference, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Nassif Jassim Muhammad Al-Khafaji, distributed the certificates of appreciation to the students who won the competition of outstanding graduation research papers and to the professors who supervised those research papers.
