The thesis which was presented by the student( Ahmed Sulyman Hasan) aims to identify the level of parallel thinking among the outstanding students, to know the statistical differences in parallel thinking according to the type variable, to know the level of cognitive beliefs, the statistical differences in the cognitive beliefs according to the type variable, Between parallel thinking and cognitive beliefs.
The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that secondary students have a parallel thinking. This is an indication that they can face problems and solve them creatively by practicing parallel thinking, and that there are statistically significant differences in parallel thinking in favor of females.
The study also found that students do not have statistically significant differences in cognitive beliefs between males and females, as well as finding a correlation between parallel thinking and cognitive beliefs. This means that the more parallel thinking the students have, the higher the cognitive beliefs. And this is a clear indication that parallel thinking influences students' cognitive beliefs by exploring new information and correcting their previous beliefs.
The study recommended the use of new educational means, the possibility of benefiting educational and educational institutions from the results of the study, as well as the teaching staff to increase the orientation of students, and encourage them to use methods and methods that help them to use parallel thinking, and work to educate students through creative programs to acquire correct knowledge beliefs .
