
The College of Education for Humanities Holds a Training Course Entitled “Digitalization of Human Resources and Modern Trends”
Under the patronage of the President of Diyala University, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, the Continuing Education Division at the college held a training course entitled “Digitalization of Human Resources and Modern Trends.” The course aimed to raise awareness of the importance of digital transformation in human resources management and to introduce participants to the latest practices and technologies that contribute to developing institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of administrative work for department heads and college staff.The course, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Sayhood Karam, covered several important topics, most notably Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and their role in organizing and managing employee data, mechanisms for managing, storing, and utilizing data to support decision-making, as well as a review of electronic attendance and departure systems and their importance in improving time management efficiency and employee discipline.The course emphasized that the digitization of human resources is a fundamental pillar in the development of educational and administrative institutions. This is achieved by simplifying procedures, reducing reliance on paper transactions, enhancing data accuracy, and expediting work completion, in line with the requirements of digital transformation and e-governance. This course contributes to achieving Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting digital transformation, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by developing the efficiency of institutions and raising the quality of administrative services.
