The Community Service Unit represents the vital bridge that connects our college with its social environment and embodies the true role of the academic institution as a center of knowledge and a responsibility toward the nation. The university is not merely a place for education; rather, it is a center of intellectual, cultural, and developmental enlightenment that contributes to addressing community issues and supporting its progress.
The Community Service Unit works to utilize the academic and research expertise of faculty members and the capabilities of students in serving various institutions and social groups through seminars, workshops, training courses, and volunteer initiatives. In doing so, it enhances the concept of social responsibility and strengthens the values of giving, belonging, and collaborative work.
While we appreciate the efforts of those responsible for this unit, we affirm that community service is not a supplementary activity; rather, it is an essential mission of higher education that complements teaching and scientific research in order to create an active individual and a more aware and cohesive society.
