- Managing the college’s official media platforms and developing their content in line with digital media advancements.
- Building a positive image of the college and strengthening its academic and community standing.
- Supporting the principles of transparency and institutional disclosure, and delivering accurate information in a timely manner.
- Enhancing communication with various media outlets and facilitating their work in a manner that serves the college’s mission.
- Addressing rumors and inaccurate information by relying on official sources.
- Preparing media materials, including news, reports, interviews, films, photographs, and designs that document the college’s activities.
- Contributing to promoting a culture of quality, academic accreditation, and sustainable development within the college.
- Developing the skills of media staff through continuous training and keeping pace with modern technologies in media and communication.
- Strengthening communication with students and the local community and highlighting the college’s role in serving society.
- Covering all scientific, cultural, administrative, and student activities organized by the college in the field.
- Preparing and drafting news articles, press reports, and media statements in accordance with professional and linguistic standards.
- Documenting events through photography and video recording and preparing the college’s media archive.
- Managing and updating the official college website and publishing official news and announcements.
- Managing the college’s social media accounts and publishing media content regularly.
- Designing posters, advertisements, and media materials for conferences, seminars, workshops, and official occasions.
- Producing visual and audio materials, introductory films, and video reports on the college’s activities.
- Coordinating with the Media and Government Communication Department at the University of Diyala Presidency regarding news and media directives.
- Monitoring media coverage of the college across various media outlets and preparing periodic reports on it.
- Organizing press conferences and media meetings, and receiving delegations and media representatives when needed.
- Preparing annual media plans and periodic reports on the achievements of the division.
- Documenting and highlighting the achievements of faculty members, students, and staff through media channels.
- Contributing to promoting the college’s programs, scientific achievements, and community service initiatives.
- Following up on national, religious, and university occasions and preparing related media materials.
- Adhering to media publishing policies and the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and the University Presidency.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of official information and documents and not publishing any material without obtaining the required formal approvals.
- Establishing a database and electronic archive for photographs, videos, and media documents.
- Collaborating with all academic departments, divisions, and units to cover their activities and highlight their achievements.
- Participating in training courses to develop media and communication skills.
- Carrying out any other tasks related to media and government communication assigned to the division by the College Dean’s Office or the University Presidency.
