
College of Education for Humanities Holds a Scientific Seminar Entitled “Exploring the Digital Horizon: Challenges and Opportunities”
The English Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Diyala, held a scientific seminar entitled “Exploring the Digital Horizon: Challenges and Opportunities.”The seminar, presented by Assistant Lecturer Duha Ismail Khalil, examined the nature of the accelerating digital transformation and its impact on various aspects of life. It focused on the challenges related to cybersecurity, privacy, the digital divide, and changes in the labor market and communication patterns.The seminar demonstrated that digital technologies enable work in the fields of education, the economy, innovation, and access to knowledge. This depends on a balance between capitalizing on opportunities and managing risks consciously and responsibly.The seminar recommended the necessity of promoting digital literacy and cybersecurity skills, supporting policies that protect privacy and data, and investing in digital education and training.This seminar aligns with the ninth Sustainable Development Goal: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and innovation.
