
The College of Education for Humanities Organizes an Awareness Activity on Technology Incubators and Entrepreneurship
Under the patronage of the President of Diyala University, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhood Al-Tamimi, the College’s Technology Incubator and Ecosystem Unit held an awareness activity for students of the Arabic Language Department, on the occasion of the Iraqi National Entrepreneurship Day.The activity, supervised by Professor Dr. Saad Jumaa, included an introduction to the concept of technology incubators and their role in supporting entrepreneurial ideas and transforming them into viable projects. It also highlighted the importance of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in nurturing young talent and developing their creative skills, thus contributing to the promotion of a culture of self-employment and innovation within the university community.The organizers also reviewed mechanisms for supporting students through consultations, guidance, and training, and creating a suitable environment for developing emerging projects, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education’s directives to support entrepreneurship and empower youth economically and intellectually. This activity comes in fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by encouraging students to adopt a culture of initiative and small projects, which contributes to supporting the national economy and enhancing future employment opportunities for graduates.
