The College of Education for Humanities Holds its Sixth Scientific Exhibition under the Slogan “Our Iraqi Industry, Our Pride”
العراقية فخرنا)Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhood Al-Tamimi, the Department of Geography at the College held its sixth scientific exhibition in cooperation with the General Company for Food Products. This exhibition underscores the university’s role in supporting national industry and strengthening partnerships with state institutions.The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhood Al-Tamimi, who toured the various pavilions showcasing a diverse range of national products. These included food products, products from the Zahi Company, and household care products such as Tide laundry detergent and soap. The exhibition aimed to highlight the quality of Iraqi products and the importance of supporting them across various sectors.In his opening remarks, the Dean emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting initiatives that bolster confidence in national industry. He noted that the slogan “Our Iraqi Industry, Our Pride” reflects a genuine drive to cultivate a culture of reliance on local products and deepen students’ awareness of the importance of supporting the national economy and contributing to sustainable development.The exhibition was organized under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Ahmed Abdullah, Professor Dr. Mai Thamer Rajab, Lecturer Suha Salem Ali, Lecturer Dr. Awatif Tahseen Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Dhikra Adel Mahmoud, Assistant Lecturer Noor Hassan Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Haider Abdul Salam Mohammed.The exhibition aims to strengthen the integration between academia and the production sector, and to solidify the concepts of sustainable development, particularly Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by supporting national products and encouraging students to actively contribute to serving society and the national economy.
