Head of English Department Appointed to Ministerial Committee to Establish Master’s Program in English Literature

Dr. Amjad Latif Jabbar, Assistant Professor and Head of the English Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Diyala, has been selected as a member of a ministerial committee tasked with establishing a Master’s program in English Literature within the English Department at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Anbar.This selection recognizes his extensive experience and academic standing in the field of English language and literature, as well as his distinguished research contributions, which will enhance the development of academic programs and raise the academic standards at Iraqi universities.The committee aims to prepare a comprehensive study, in accordance with approved academic standards, outlining the necessary curricula and research plans for establishing the Master’s program. This initiative will contribute to meeting the needs of the job market and developing students’ research skills.This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), by supporting higher education and expanding the horizons of postgraduate studies.
