
To Enhance the Partner Schools CampaignCollege of Education for Humanities Conducts Field Visits to Schools in Diyala Governorate
In implementation of the memoranda of understanding between our college and the Diyala Governorate Education Directorate, and within the framework of enhancing the Partner Schools Campaign, the College of Education for Humanities at Diyala University conducted field visits to a number of schools in Diyala Governorate. The aim was to support educational institutions and assess the needs of these schools, as well as to distribute awareness posters related to various subjects to classrooms in the governorate’s schools.The visit, which included Assistant Professor Dr. Qahtan Ahmed Farhoud and Lecturer Dr. Abdul-Hakim Talab Jaafar, focused on assessing the schools’ needs and working to provide essential supplies that contribute to improving the educational environment. It also included carrying out maintenance work on school desks to ensure student comfort and the smooth continuation of the educational process.The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhoud Al-Tamimi, emphasized that this initiative comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the college and the Diyala Education Directorate, and instilling a spirit of volunteerism and community service, which will positively impact the level of education in the governorate. The Directorate General of Education in Diyala, represented by its Director, Mr. Amer Shehab Al-Azzawi, expressed its appreciation for this initiative, praising the college’s role in supporting the education sector and assisting educational institutions.This activity contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by improving the learning environment and providing appropriate learning resources for students, as well as supporting Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by strengthening cooperation among educational institutions.
