
On the Occasion of Hope Day for Suicide PreventionCollege of Education for Humanities Holds Book and Handicrafts Exhibition
The Guidance Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Diyala, held a book and handicrafts exhibition on Monday, April 6, 2026, to mark Hope Day for Suicide Prevention. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with the college’s academic departments and was attended by faculty members and students.The exhibition, inaugurated by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Luay Sayhood Al-Tamimi, featured a diverse display of academic and cultural books, as well as a collection of handicrafts created by the college’s students, showcasing their artistic skills and creative abilities.The Dean praised the efforts made in organizing the exhibition, emphasizing the importance of such events in supporting cultural activities and developing student talent. He also noted the significance of holding such exhibitions in fostering a spirit of innovation among students and providing a stimulating environment for creativity and cultural interaction on campus.This activity comes within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 related to “quality education”, by supporting activities that promote lifelong learning and skills development.
