
College of Education for Humanities Holds Training Lecture on Microteaching Program (Virtual Lessons) to Prepare Fourth-Year Students for Field Experience
The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Diyala, held a training lecture on the microteaching program (virtual lessons) to prepare fourth-year students for field experience. This initiative is part of the unit’s plan to develop students’ practical skills and prepare them for post-graduation life.The lecture, supervised by the unit’s head, Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Fadhil Abbas, included virtual lessons presented by fourth-year students in the Geography Department. Students were trained on lesson planning, classroom management, and the use of modern educational tools to present course material systematically. They also learned how to manage virtual lessons, monitor student performance, and evaluate it according to academic standards that focus on teaching competencies. This contributes to boosting students’ self-confidence and developing their ability to handle real-world classroom situations.This lecture is in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (quality education), by supporting the quality of teacher preparation and professional qualification, which will positively impact the level of education in educational institutions in the future.
